MERCEDES-BENZ VITO USER REVIEWS
Our new Vito is the 8 seater people mover version, like a cheaper version of the Viano. The good points: Looks good with optioned wheels, very comfortable, good driving aids and trip computer, Convenience pack is quite reasonably priced with auto wipers, front and rear parking sensors, SPEEDTRONIC cruise control. Very roomy inside with heaps of room for the kids and their luggage. Quite economical on the highway. The bad points: within 1 week, the 2 rear interior lights have blown. The bluetooth phone system went all crackly and made a burning smell, and we haven't used it since - that was on the first phone-call. The diesel is OK when punting around town, but downright dangerous in terms of go when you try to overtake on the highway. The engine is also quite rough and noisy. The vinyl floor just seems out of place in a Mercedes! We still haven't got the tow-pack, rear mudflaps and rear carpet mats from the dealer yet. Overall, we are not very happy about the reliability of the vehicle, but we are quite impressed with the roominess and comfort of it.
