Mitsubishi Shows Innovative PX-MiEV Electric SUV

Mitsubishi’s PX-MiEV plug-in hybrid SUV concept headed ‘downunder’ for display at the Australian International Motor Show.
 

The innovative parallel-hybrid gasoline-electric SUV uses differential motors to transfer torque between the rear wheels. Using the electric motor and 1.6-litre petrol engine, the Mitsubishi PX-MiEV returns fuel consumption as low as 50kms/litres.

Using innovative technology and driver aides the PX-MiEV shows how hybrid technology can be applied to full-size SUVs.
