New Five-Star ANCAP Safety Ratings For Toyota and Subaru

The latest round of local ANCAP barrier testing has resulted in the highest five-syar ratings for Toyota’s locally produced Camry, the just-launched Subaru XV compact SUV and the upcoming new Subaru Impreza.
 

In fact all Subaru vehicles sold in Australia are rated at the maximum five-star level by ANCAP.

And the five-star rating for Toyota’s all-new Camry means all Toyota passenger cars sold in Australia are likewise five-star ANCAP performers. 

Of course as well as the ANCAP standard barrier tests, manufacturers like Subaru and Toyota undertake massive numbers of barrier tests at their R&D facilities in Japan – all in the name of ensuring their vehicles are as safe as possible.
