MINI has released details of its latest model – the John Cooper Works Paceman – ahead of its global debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show.
Powered by the 160kW280Nm turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cyinder engine, the racy four-seat coupe features all-wheel-drive, lowered sports suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch option) and extensive aerodynamic enhancements in keeping with a high-performance compact car.
MINI says the John Cooper Works Paceman will zip from zero to 100km/h in 6.9 seconds and can return combined cycle fuel consumption of 8.0l/100kms (6-speed manual) or 8.3l/100kms (6-speed automatic).
Roof colours are white, black or Chilli Red and exterior mirrors adopt a matching colour.
