Good news for couriers and other Ford Transit buyers with the 2013 model arriving with no price rises and extra features.
Heading the list is the standard fitment of Bluetooth and Voice Control enabling hands-free telephone calls.
Other updates are cosmetic – standard front fog-lights across the range and a new body0-colour front grille.
And Ford Transit can now be ordered with the choice of some packs which bring extra features. Varying by model, the ‘Convenience Pack adds items like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, DRLs and a rear-view camera while the ‘Safety Pack’ adds dynamic stability control.
“The Transit is designed from the ground up to meet commercial customers’ daily driving needs and the introduction of Bluetooth with Voice Control offers these customers even more value and added safety,” explained Ford Australia’s marketing chief David Katic.
