Subaru breaks new ground in March with the arrival of the Outback 2.0-litre turbo-diesel fitted with an automatic transmission. The 2013 Outback turbo-diesel automatic is Subaru’s first diesel automatic.
Subaru’s handy Outback 2.0D with the latest Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) joins the six-speed manual version as part of the updated 2013 model year range.
Naturally the lack of an automatic version of the Outback diesel has constrained sales and Subaru expect demand will be very strong at launch.
The 2013 Subaru Outback diesel gains a fresh look (new front grille and bumper, new foglight housings and new wheel patterns). Entry-level 2.0D gains factory-fitted satellite navigation and the range-topping 2.0D Premium scores leather seats, an electric sunroof and upgraded instruments.
Full details and prices will be revealed in March.
