MINI has confirmed its seventh model, the handsome Paceman will hit the showroom starting at $35,900 (Cooper model) and $44,100 (Cooper S).

Australian sales will start in March.
Stylistically different to other MINI models, the Paceman, while a coupe body, provides a raised SUV-like driving position and more space for the four occupants.

Underneath, the Paceman rides on the MINI Countryman platform and and features 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Paceman Cooper employs MINI’s naturally-aspirated 1.6-litre powerplant with 90kW/160Nm while the Cooper S gains the turbocharged version with 135kW/240Nm on-tap.
