The Geneva Motor Show each March is normally a frosty affair with overcoats and warm suits in abundance.
However this year in Geneva Toyota will have Europeans dreaming of summer holidays in Portofino and Monte Carlo when it reveals a concept convertible version of the Toyota 86 sports car.

Following the 2012 debut of the Toyota 86 hardtop, the convertible version is as predictable as an ice cream melting in the summer sun. In fact Toyota has admitted the FT86 Open (its European nomenclature) appearing in concept form in Geneva coincides with prototype engineering kicking-off in Japan…expect a debut in production form at the Tokyo Motor Show in October.

Also slated for reveal by Toyota in Geneva is the European version of the RAV4 (Australian launch next week) supported by two design studies – ‘RAV4 Premium’ and ‘RAV4 Adventure’.
