The Audi RS 4 Avant, one of the world’s most desirable high-performance high-tech wagons has returned to the Australian market after a five-year absence.
Bristling with performance and bursting with technology, the all-new Audi RS 4 Avant is priced from $149,400.
Power comes from Audi’s startling, high-revving 4.2-litre FSI V8 with 331kW/430Nm on-tap. Delivering all that performance via the seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the Audi RS 4 Avant joins an elite league with zero 100km/h in under 5.0 seconds - 4.7 seconds to be precise.
Incredibly, fuel consumption at 10.7l/100kms (combined cycle) is 21 per-cent better than the previous generation RS 4 Avant.
It’s a visual feast as well with the front-end featuring a honeycombe grille, bumper with a splitter and cool air ducts with angled struts. The side scores flared wheel arches with flat tops (reminiscent of the 1980 Audi Quattro supercar) to cover the 20-inch alloy wheels while the rear runs a diffuser with honeycombe upper grille.
Inside are S sports seats in Nappa leather, the flat-bottom race-themed steering wheel and lots of technology.
You can option other 20-inch alloy wheels in the three Dynamic Sports Packages which are available.
