Mitsubishi has launched the 2014 version of its competent ASX crossover with some price reductions and extra kit.
The entry-level 2WD petrol is now priced at $24,990 while the entry-level diesel is stickered at $31,990.
Headlining the interior changes are standard cruise control and leather-wrapped steering wheels while rear seat passengers will enjoy a re-formed seat for extra comfort.
Entry level models now sport 17-inch alloy wheels and uprated audio with a 6.1-inch colour touchscreen.
Range-topper remains the Aspire which gains a leather interior (heated front seats), satellite navigation and a panoramic glass sunroof.
Under the bonnet, the 110kW/197Nm 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine is a tad more fuel-efficient while the 110kW/260Nm, 2.2-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel which arrived this year is unchanged.
Mitsubishi has also given the ASX’s suspension the ‘once-over’ to improve ride comfort.
