Audi has released preliminary details on the all-new A4 lineup schedule to bow at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
As you can see, the gorgeous styling is evolutionary rather than revolutionary but in typical Audi fashion, the detail sees the real work.
The all-new A4 is longer and wider than the current generation but smart technology sees it weigh-in up to 120kgs lighter.
It’s also impressively more aerodynamic (Audi says better than BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class) at Cd 0.23.
European customers can choose from seven engines including two V6 turbo-diesels.
Inside the all-new Audi A4 follows the lead of the all-new TT with the excellent Virtual Cockpit display headlined by a 12.3-inch colour LCD screen which is the best instrument layout we’ve experienced – it’s a straight-forward as that.
More cargo space too – 1510-litres with the rear seat folded or 505-litres when in-use (again Audi says this is the new benchmark for the segment).
Audi Australia is working on local specifications and launch timing.
