Kia's cool-to-be-square Soul has received its second consecutive safety award in North America.
The funky, chunky hatchback has been named a '2010 Top Safety Pick' by the US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), one of only five small cars to earn the organization's top honour.
IIHS ratings cover impact crash tests for frontal, side, rear and (included for the first time this year) rollovers. To be eligible, a vehicle must have electronic stability control available.
