Audi’s all-new S8 model, the flagship of the A8 range, has arrived - for the first time in the current D4 generation – priced at $279,000.
The fastest and most powerful Audi S model so far, the S8 is powered by the 382kW/650Nm twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and covers zero to 100km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
Drive is to all four wheels via an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, Quattro system and rear sport differential.
Cylinder-on-demand technology aids in keeping fuel consumption down to 9.6l/100kms.
Styling is simply stunning, helped by those gorgeous 21-inch five-triple-spoke S Design alloy wheels.
As you’d expect there’s a technology overload with standard features including digital TV reception, heated and ventilated front seats with a massage function, BOSE audio, adaptive cruise control with stop-go function, active lane assist, side assist and park assist systems.
