Citroen has partnered up with Australian surf sportswear brand Rip Curl to produce a special edition C4 Cactus that’s going up for sale Europe – specifically, it will be on sale in the UK starting from June 1st.

It would make sense for Citroen to broaden the special edition C4 Cactus to other markets, say, the country where Rip Curl originates, and indeed that could happen soon. But so far, no exact timelines were revealed.
The C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition features some unique exterior and interior touches that takes cues from the surf culture with graphics on the wings and rear quarter lamps.
Its roof rails and doors are also finished in a contrasting white. Orange detailing is found on the seatbelts and speaker surrounds along with orange-trimmed carpet mats.
Additions that are new but not necessarily surf-related are the new 17-inch diamond cut ‘Cross’ design alloy wheels, however the standard-fit Goodyear 4 seasons Mud+Snow tyres probably are welcome inclusions to better cope with wet sandy beaches.
Citroen has also fitted the C4 Cactus Rip Curl with a standard panoramic glass roof and an intelligent ‘Grip Control’ traction system to aid the front-driven crossover when negotiating more challenging terrain.
In Europe at least, Citroen is offering the special edition C4 Cactus with two engine options: a 1.2-litre three-pot turbo PureTech 110 S&S petrol or a 1.6-litre BlueHDi four-cylinder turbodiesel that are both fitted with a manual transmission.
