Dodge has wheeled-out a raft of upgrades for the 2010 Dodge Caliber crossover.
The muscly American five-seat wagon gains an all-new interior with a much more upmarket feel and active head restraints plus standard 18-inch polished aluminium alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet, Dodge has ditched the 1.8-litre, four-cylinder engine and the revised Caliber is powered exclusively by the 2.0-litre unit delivering 115kW/190Nm. However adoption of a standard Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) sees fuel consumption reduced by 6-8 per cent (now 8.0l/100kms).
Dodge has also simplified the Caliber model line – now available in SXT-spec only and priced at $29,990 it’s certainly a ‘must-include’ on the shopping list for anyone seeking a roomy five-seat crossover.
