As North America bunkers down for another winter snow-storm onslaught, Kia delivered extra ‘coolness’ to the Chicago Auto Show with the global unveiling of its “Track’ster” concept vehicle
.
Ironically, the Track’ster is a creation of Kia’s design studio in sunny California and is based on the Soul ‘crossover’ (also with Californian design roots).
Kia says the Track’ster is intended to be the ultimate sporty version of the ‘hip-to-be-square’ Soul but certainly will not go into prosecution in its present form.
Kia’s California design boss Tom Kearns reckons the Track’ster extends the rebellious, individual, urban character of the Soul.
