For a look at the upcoming new Mercedes-Benz high-performance compact sedan you need look no further than Sony’s latest Playstation 4 racing game called ‘Driveclub’.
Launched yesterday in New York the game features as centerpieces the upcoming motor show debutants – the A 45 AMG to be unveiled in a couple of weeks at the Geneva Motor Show followed in a few weeks by the CLA 45 AMG in New York.
The CLA is Mercedes’ all-new ‘mini CLS’ – a gorgeous compact four-door sedan – and the AMG version looks a cracker.
Both will be powered by Benz’ stonking 265kW/450Nm AMG-developed 2.0-litre engine which is claimed to be the world’s most powerful mass-produced four-cylinder engine. Drive is via an AMG-tuned variable all-wheel-drive system.
‘Driveclub’ is a networked game said to provide outstanding audio visual quality as you tackle some of the world’s best roads in some of the world’s best cars (further Mercedes-Benz models will be added later).
