Priced from $21,990, Mitsubishi’s limited edition Lancer ACTiV, available in either sedan or Sportback versions, represents great value with lots of extra kit.
On the outside, Lancer ACTiV gains 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, a rear spoiler, side skirts and a chrome exhaust tip.
Inside, the ACTiV secures hands-free Bluetooth ‘phone capability and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls for the audio and Bluetooth.
Under the bonnet is Mitsubishi’s handy 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine with 113kW of power at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 198Nm at 4250 rpm. Drive is to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or CVT automatic.
Lancer is five-star safety rated by ANCAP and comes standard with Active Stability Control/Traction Control (ASTC), ABS anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), SRS airbags and the anti-intrusion pedal system.
