Mercedes-Benz showed the updated E-Class lineup in Melbourne – some time ahead of its local launch.

Included in the tech-story is the latest fuel-saving 7G-TRONIC automoatic transmissions which reduces fuel consumption by as much as 10 per cent and also provides improved response/refinement.
The ttransmission plus ECO start/stop and mechanical changes see consumption for four-cylinder turbo-idesel veriosn of the magnificent E-Class slahed by as much as 16 per cent.
