Nissan will boost its passenger car lineup in August with the launch of the all-new Almera compact sedan.
A product of Nissan Europe, the Almera rides on Nissan’s V platform (shared with the Micra) and is the precursor to Nissan’s all-new Pulsar small car and Altima mid-size sedan. All share Nissan’s latest global design DNA and of course the American-created Altima will be the vehicle spearheading the Australian operations entry into V8 Supercar racing.
“With Pulsar sedan and hatch and the all-new Altima set to reach Australia in 2013, Nissan is strengthening its passenger car range as we seek to reach our target of becoming the Number One importer in the Australian car market,” revealed Nissan Australia CEO Bill Peffer.
Nissan will announce the Almera range and prices at launch in August.
