Debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month the new Porsche Panmera Diesel will be eight-tenths of a second quicker to 100km/h it will now achieve it in 6.0 seconds flat. Top speed has also been increased to 259km/h up from 244km/h
Porsche have also improved dynamic performance with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) as standard for the first time – to date, this feature has been reserved for the petrol engine Panamera models. The transmission and chassis have also been retuned.
The crankshaft drive and pistons have been completely re-designed and new water-cooled turbocharger has been used for the first time.
The new Panamera Diesel will be priced from $204,600 an increase of $7,900 on the outgoing model. Expect to see the Porsche Panamera Diesel in showrooms from March 2014.
