My Car:

2007 Honda Civic VTi Sedan

What was your previous car?

The 2006 Holden Viva Sedan

Why did you choose this car?

I have had several car accidents in the past, which makes safety important to me. My most serious accident happened when I was driving a Honda Civic, though luckily because of the high quality and safety standards, I walked away from that accident without a bruise.

What are the pros/cons of the car?

This car has all the little luxuries that a small car can offer for under 20K, like air conditioning, full electrics, digital display, CD/MP3 player, ABS, cruise control, and front airbags.

It has a smooth feel to it and hums quietly (but wouldn't be ideal for a lead foot) and is has strikingly good looks.

There is a lot of space for a small car, comfortable seating which gives a grand feel to it. With the skyrocketing petrol prices these days, I’m spending about $45 for a full tank of petrol which isn’t bad as this takes me about 450kms.

How does this car suit your lifestyle?

I mainly do a lot of combined city and freeway driving, so a quiet and comfortable ride is important.

The small size of the vehicle makes it easier to park in tight city spaces, but the amount of space inside is still comfortable for all passengers.

Describe the buying experience

I walked in to the dealership with an idea of what I was after; an easy to drive, small, efficient, cheap to maintain vehicle. I just needed to choose the colour, which was simple.
