Your www.carshowroom.com.au correspondent has done plenty of miles in a Chrysler 300 SRT Core and frankly, for performance sedan buyers we reckon it is a downright steal when it comes to price and standard equipment.
All the more reason for our sadness at stories from Detroit about the 300 SRT’s demise.

Only 133 are coming to Australia and, again, at $60,000 the comprehensively equipped 6.4-litre V8 sedan is a brilliant buy.
Over the current SRT Core, the Satin Vapour adds leather trimmed seats with perforated suede, a dual-pane sun-roof, satin black mirror caps, roof wrap and rear spoiler, gloss black window surrounds and a black chrome grille.
Our 300 SRT Core looked great in ‘Billet Silver’ or you can go for ‘Bright White’ or ‘Granite Crystal’.
