File this one under ‘Y’ for “Yes Please!” – BMW has announced the M version of the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
Under the bonnet is a high-revving TwinPower Turbo 4.3-litre V8 delivering 412kW/680Nm and zero to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds and the luxury four-door coupe reduces weight thanks to its carbon fibre roof.
Underneath is M Dynamic Damper Control and the Active M differential.
Inside the standard seating layout is a four-seater with a portable third rear seat suitable for short journeys. And there’s the hallmark BMW M sports luxury in abundance including new design front sport seats with integrated seat belt guides.
Styling gets the usual BMW M treatment with larger air intakes and aero kit – all of which looks fabulous on the Gran Coupe which is actually 113mm longer in the wheelbase than the M6 Coupe.
Flared wheelarches, massive 20-inch alloy wheels and a rear diffuser further highlight the M6 Gran Coupe.
BMW Australia will announce local details at launch.
