BMW has announced the end of production for the high performance M6 Coupe and Convertible. Sadly, this also calls ‘Time’ on the wonderful high-revving, V10 engine.
A total of 14,152 examples of the scintillating BMW duo have been produced since 2005.
A multiple winner of the global Engine Of the Year Award, the 373kW/520Nm V10 was a remarkable powerplant with a stunning exhaust note as it revved through to its 8,250rpm redline. The V10 also powered the M5 (now also sadly discontinued).
