AMG has wheeled-out the S 65 AMG Coupe – the V12 hero model of the new S-Class lineup.
Boasting a 463kW/1000Nm version of the bi-turbo AMG V12 engine, the S 65 AMG Coupe is as good as it gets.
And as high-tech – for example AMG has ditched the conventional battery, replacing it with a lithium-ion version which saves 20kgs of weight.
Underneath is AMG sports suspension with a curve tilting function so the S65 AMG Coupe leans into a corner like a motorcyclist and a stereo camera governs the operation of ‘Road Surface Scan’ which detects changes in road conditions.
Styling gets the AMG treatment inside and out including a new-design three-spoke sports steering wheel and a 8x2.75-inch colour head-up display which seems to be positioned above the bonnet.
