Mercedes-Benz has staked an early claim for ‘Best In Show’ with confirmation the glorious all-new S 63 AMG Coupe will be unveiled at next month’s New York Auto Show.
European deliveries are scheduled to commence in September but at this stage no Australian details have surfaced.

Same inside with the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe continuing Mercedes’ current look with round air-vents and two massive colour TFT screens – one for the instruments and one for the infotainment – both mounted high on the sweeping dashboard.
Power comes from the current 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 providing 430kW/900Nm, driving through the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A tuned AMG exhaust system ensures the right noises are on-tap when you nail the gas pedal!
In rear-wheel-drive, the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG knock-over zero to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds but the 4Matic all-wheel-drive version lops that further to 3.9 seconds which puts the beautiful coupe into the ‘Supercar’ league.
‘Benz says the all-new S 63 AMG is 65kgs lighter than its predecessor – part of the story in achieving combined-cycle fuel consumption of 10.1l/100kms.
